My “office area” needs work. This I know. ::hides face in shame:: There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t walk by it and think about doing an Incredible Hulk one-arm swipe and politely letting it all fall into a trash can. Yeah. It’s really that serious. Between moving, planning a wedding, 9 months of traveling last year, with a side of “I’m too tired to _____”, you have my desk.
The office is one of my favorite places in the home. It’s where the business is all handled. Whether you’re negotiating contracts for vendors of a wedding or trying to decide to pay your little brother in gum because he did that little favor for you, it’s where the magic of “getting things done” tend to happen.
Then, I have a love for impeccable interior design with style, taste, and a kick of glamour. Mix that in with a finely decorated organized office and viola! I’d have my ideal setting for handling business. Lastly, the office has to be super organized, of course. I have never been able to function with a million things and papers everywhere. Everything has a place, tucked away neatly.
My ultimate office would be deemed my “Lady’s Lounge”. A place with a fantastic rug, fabulous venetian chandelier, flat screen, drapery, my glass desk, and all the beautiful pictures of me and my fiancé neatly placed about.
This year, I plan to do all of these things.

Love the second space! So glam, yet so multi-functional…it just works.
