Happy Valentine’s Day! I’ve really been racking my brain trying to figure out exactly what I wanted to talk about for today. I had about 3 different topics, but they felt “expected” for a lack of better words. So instead of something formulated to share, I thought I’d share 14 of the most random facts about myself with my readers. I want you to get to know me a little better. Hey, I only do this for those I love! 🙂
1. I actually HATE Valentine’s Day. Well let me back up. My disdain for the day has decreased now that I’m married. Nevertheless, I don’t like what it represents. It’s unauthentic.
2. I. cannot. skate. Do not ask me to. You couldn’t PAY me to. Surprisingly, I can rollerblade. Don’t ask.
3. I tried going natural August 2007 and failed. After my relaxer the next month, I made up in my mind I wouldn’t go back.
4. I had a personality test once tell me I was an introvert. The older I get, I’m starting to believe that to be true.
5. I. am. not. a. morning. person. I don’t do mornings. No, I’m not happy. Shut up. Get out of my face. Why are you so loud?! Yeah…I was born at night for a reason! *smile*
6. I’m a neat freak. I do not like anything out of place! It makes my skin crawl.
7. I don’t like overpowering scents or smells.
8. I’ve only been in love 3 times. The 3rd time was definitely the charm! I married him.
9. I’ve never had braces. My teeth are naturally straight.
10. We all have a bad habit. Mine? I don’t check voicemails. I guess I’ve annoyed enough people lately so I’ll only check them if they leave them…sometimes…maybe…ooh what’s on tv? OMG I love that…
11. I cannot work in a quiet environment. I need things going on around me, but I also don’t like to be interrupted. All the chaos keeps me focused.
12. I’m the oldest child and grandchild (Dad’s side).
13. My family comes from the Bahamas, Florida, and New York.
14. I actually love sneakers as much as I love heels (I just let people think I only like heels).
