Last Minute Prep for Baby

Today marks my final pregnancy post! I must say that it has been such a pleasure sharing with you all and thank you so much for your positive thoughts, prayers, and check-ins as we transition from a household of 2 to 3.

This month has been a whirlwind! Finding a pediatrician, getting the car seat ready and inspected, a zillion packages and contractions to go along with it all. However, we have finally got to a stopping point so I thought I’d end this phase in my life with some of the last minute preparations we’ve made for her arrival.

{I’ve purchased a number of books for her and have even recorded our voices so we can play them back and read them to her. One of my Sorority sisters bought the books Girl of Mine & I Love My Hair! which I had on my registry & I cannot wait to read these to her. I want her to not only know she is loved, but to love herself, as well.}

{I was determined to make a drawer or “station” for all things related to diapering, bathing and other misc tasks for her. I found these amazing organizers from Amazon and they have been super beneficial when it came to organizing something for her. So if I’m in this room with her, I can easily grab and go when it’s time for a diaper change or something else.}

{I added a 2nd diaper station using the Prince Lionhearted Diaper Depot to her pack and play, which includes a foldable changing station on it. This will most likely stay in the living area so rather run back in room #1 to grab a diaper or diaper ointment, I wanted to have something close by on hand.}

{Lastly, I found this wonderful glider rocker that didn’t cost $300, was super cute and came with a matching ottoman for only $170! Did I mention how my back melts in this chair?! Worth every dollar & perfect for feedings and soothing time.}
