I’m not sure when it happened, but somewhere along the lines I found myself refusing to repeat an outfit. Maybe it’s because if I didn’t have something new, I didn’t feel like I had my fashion together. Maybe it’s because I felt like the new was being ahead of the curve. Whatever this crazy notion or reasoning, I found myself with a boatload of pieces in my closet that I didn’t really love! There are a few key pieces in my closet I find that I reach for when I’m in a pinch.

As I’ve transitioned to a mindset of abundance and contentment, I realize that repeating an outfit, even if you are fashion-forward, doesn’t have to mean your closet (or bank account) is to its detriment. Repeating outfits and even key pieces has given me the ability to be creative and find other ways to update the look even further. When you know better, you do better, right?

What’s your philosophy on repeating outfits? Have you ever dealt with this? Let me know in the comments, below.
