“This post is sponsored by Everywhere Agency on behalf of Primrose Schools; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.”

From the moment Laila was born, my husband and I were adamant about choosing childcare that was not just apple juice, crackers, and snacks all day, but one with structure, education, learning, and fun all into one. After consulting some of my closest mom friends, we landed on Primrose Schools. From the day we took a tour to today, Primrose has developed a full-fledge curriculum built with intention and early education, from 6 weeks through Private Kindergarten and we have been proud to not call it “daycare”, but call it “school”.

We enrolled Laila at 12 weeks after my maternity leave ended and she has been moving like a rocket ever since! Primrose Schools lays the basic foundation of critical skills children need, called executive function skills, which is embedded in the everyday curriculum for each class. Laila has mastered many of the skills, particularly in the areas of Adaptability, Working Memory, & Teamwork.

Check out some of our favorite, at-home memories with Laila as she continues to amaze us with her savvy skills AND details about a giveaway that’s a cinch to enter!

Laila’s imagination is completely off the Richter Scale! There’s not a day we’re not making up songs to sing, role playing, I’m asking several open-ended questions to understand exactly what’s going on in her mind.

Working Memory

We really work hard with Laila to foster an environment of memory, including providing responsibility for putting her dirty clothes in the hamper during bath time, reading aloud at night, and working with sticky letters during bath time.

One of the greatest things about Laila is her ability to work together with others in a fun, group setting. Teamwork is an important skill not only at this stage of life for Laila, but also in adulthood.

I am a proud we chose Primrose for Laila’s early education and will be forever grateful for the skills she has learned and how well she continues to progress with each passing day!
