If the original Barbie was a black girl…

I’m 33 and I am more confident in who I was born to be more than ever. For so many years I was told I was too dark, my eyes were too big, I was too skinny, my butt wasn’t big enough, I spoke like a white girl, I wanted to BE a white girl, I didn’t fit in, and anything else you can throw my way. Okay, fine. However, my identity is rooted in who God says I am. And even though I don’t feel the most beautiful and confident everyday, I can rest assured that regardless of feelings, I am exactly who I am supposed to be. And baby, that right there is pure magic!

What I’m Wearing:
Bodysuit: H&M Skirt: H&M x COACHELLA Shoes: Victoria’s Secret, no longer available, but very similar options here, here, & here.
