One of the things I’ve always wanted to attempt was making my own homemade soup. In my list of 11 Things to Do In Fall, making your own homemade soup was, indeed, on my list. So to check another thing off the list, I decided to dive in head first and try making cream of mushroom soup.


My husband and I have been doing a superb job at not eating anything canned and making meals from scratch with fresh ingredients. I found this recipe to be easy, all with items I got right at Whole Foods.

The verdict: Delicious!


I won’t ever have to buy another can of cream of mushroom soup after making this recipe. The soup was flavorful and warming, just in time for this freezing weather we’re having in Atlanta.
