Eons. It’s the only way to describe the amount of time since I’ve gone shopping for eyeshadow. Really. It’s been 6 years. My mom, who’s really the guru of all things beauty {she’s tried everything}, has always raved about the Naked palettes for the last few years, but I never really paid attention. Lipstick has captured my heart. That’s where I’m always focusing my makeup efforts. However, that all changed when I saw this new palette at Sephora.

The truth behind it all is that I’m extremely picky when it comes to makeup in general. If I find something that works, I tend to just stick with it and in the past, I just didn’t think the Naked palettes would work well with my complexion. Well, some of the colors would, but not all of them. If I’m going to spend that much money on something, I want to be able to utilize more than just 3 colors. No shade. My coins are precious to me.

When I first laid eyes on the Naked 3, I was instantly drawn to the colors. “Now these are the shades I would want to wear”, I thought. After a quick consult, via text message to my Mom {who approved, of course}, I went on my way to purchasing my first Naked palette.
