Sharing a few of my fave beauty obsessions that currently have my heart and have made their mark in the beauty arsenal.
For the past month or so, I have really been focusing more on taking care of my skin and I have travel to thank for that. Adapting to several different climates throughout several seasons can take a toll on your skin. Since April, I have been adamant about finding beauty products to fit my lifestyle & values of being cruelty-free & made with natural ingredients.
Here are the products I am OBSESSED with:
Finding foundations are equivalent to finding that perfect pair of jeans – the process for me takes for.e.ver. and I am never really satisfied with the options out there. After frantically looking for something clean that gave me a flawless finish, I stumbled up Tarte’s Amazonian Clay Foundation. Girl! Let me tell ya – this foundation is BOMB and it’s a vegan & hypoallergenic product, free of parabens, sulfates or phlalates! Not only that, it does a phenomenal job with coverage AND they actually had ton of options in terms of shade. I have been wearing it every day since I bought it. It’s worth it!
This mascara delivers a punch to your lashes and is “formulated without parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, sodium lauryl sulfate, triclosan, and gluten“. Win-win. The packaging was the icing on the cake!
I. Love. This. Spray. Made from actual grapes in Bordeaux, this organic spray is moisturizing and perfect for refreshing skin and giving you that dewy look with your makeup. Perfect if you have dry, oily, combo, or sensitive skin. If you have skin on your face, you can use this!
Anything that can reduce my face from looking like the surface of a planet in orbit gets a try from me. Just sayin’. The consistency is spot on and my face LOVES it! I actually use it as a primer for makeup because it applies smoother than other pore minimizing primers I’ve tried in the past.
Have you even tested a product in the store on the back of your hand and then walked away only to continuously keep petting and stroking that area of your hand? Yeah, that’s how I stumbled across this gem. Although my skin is combination, I find certain areas of my face get REALLY dry, so I decided to give this a shot. It made my skin so plump and moisturized, I had to get it! It’s very moisturizing, but it’s light – so it never looks like a grease bomb exploded on my face. It also pairs well under makeup for all the moisture!
