In the last year, I’ve shared my sentiments with switching my beauty routine and products to all natural. With each trip taken, I’ve added products to the routine to make sure my skin stays hydrated & healthy, as well as using products that don’t do my body harm.
I’ve traveled to 4 different states, all with different climates. Regardless if it was as dry as the desert in Arizona to the steamy humidity of Houston & New Orleans, these are the tried and true products that have withheld the test of weather, multiple rounds of transportation and carry-on luggage.
Kosmatology Lemongrass Foaming Face Wash – From foamy to creamy, this facewash does not disappoint! It does a superb job of washing off the yuck of the day to a full face of makeup. It’s also made with organic ingredients & essential oils to help soothe the skin, if irritated. Perfect for changing climates!
Schmidt’s Deodorant in Lavender-Sage – I had been on the hunt for a natural deodorant from the moment I found out I was pregnant, but didn’t settle on anything until a few months ago (You can read my post about that here). Through differing climates, this deodorant has held up well without containing aluminum, propyl, glycol, parabens, & phthlates.
Acure Aromatherapeutic Coconut Argan Oil – Vegan, sulfate free, paraben free, & cruelty free. Ring it up! It’s rich in Vitamin E, fatty acids (to keep your skin hydrated), & proteins. The coconut scent screams summer and it keeps my face super soft & dewy without feeling greasy. They also have one scented in Citrus Ginger – deliciously scented!
Rose Water – Some may opt for the fancy sprays to travel with, but I found good old fashioned rose water does WONDERS for hydrating the face. For trips to dry & humid climates like Arizona, Houston, and New Orleans, this $7 worked very well to make sure my face stayed soft and hydrated.
Boscia Tsubaki Swirl Moisturizer – I love following up applying argan oil with this here moisturizer. This baby has held up on every trip and has not disappointed. My face always feel baby soft & moist.
Petal Multi-Use Oil in Forget me Nots by Urban Outfitters – I’ve been on the hunt looking for a body oil I can use every day and found out about this one from my fave mom/model, Denise Vasi. This oils smells. so. good. Seriously! It’s super light, making this a win for the sweltering summer season. I use this as soon as I pat dry out of the shower. My skin is always so soft and glows.
Monoi Tiki Tahiti Oil – OMG! I have been trying to get my hand on this stuff for a while, but finally got it while in Arizona. This is the best oil ever, IMO. I try to be conservative on not slathering it on every day, but when I use it, it is absolute perfection! Best buy ever & it’s only $12!
