It’s officially Summer break and it’s time to switch to those makeup choices to bright, vibrant colors. For those of us that are all about being cute on a budget, I have just the thing for you that love lipsticks.
NYC New York Color recently launched their new Expert last Lip Color Matte line and they sent me two out of the five samples to try to see how I would like them. I had the chance to try Velvety Fuchsia & Red Suede.
The claim:

Here’s how they turned out.
Lip color: Red Suede
The rich tone and texture were winners for me! Most lipsticks don’t really mesh well with my skin tone at times, but these did! The colors are so vibrant on and didn’t require any extra lipgloss on top for that extra shine. I’m also usually not a huge fan of anything with matte in the name, but these lipsticks proved me wrong! The texture is, indeed, velvety and smooth. To amp things up a bit more, I decided to eat a full dinner with it on to see if they would last. I was pleasantly surprised when they did! You also can’t beat the $1.99 price tag!
