It’s been a minute since I’ve attended a concert of an artist that I actually care about these days. There aren’t too many artists that I will pay money to listen to their music, unless I’m just really moved by it. One particular music group whose music has moved me in a positive way, and I can say I keep on repeat consistently is The Foreign Exchange.
For those that aren’t familiar with Foreign Exchange, their music consists of a mix of R&B, Hip-Hop, & Electronica. I’ve been a pretty big fan of The Foreign Exchange’s music for the past few years now, so I was ecstatic when I found out they were coming to Atlanta just a month after their album release. The group just released their newest album Love In Flying Colorscreating another masterpiece that we fans can vibe to for years to come! Their music is just great music period. Hands down.
Phonte, Nicolay and their incredibly talented live band performed songs from Love In Flying Colors, like ‘If I Knew Then’, ‘Listen to the Rain’ & ‘Better’ (OMG they KILLED this one). They even gave us some of their classic hits, like ‘House of Cards’, ‘I Wanna Know’, ‘Come Around’, and ‘Take off Your Blues’.
Overall this concert was sincerely amazing! It was worth every single dollar, cent, taxes and surcharges. They gave us real music and a jam session all in one. They gave us energy and a lot of hilarious stories and sayings we’ll be sharing for years. The Foreign Exchange just gave us an incredible show!
