In between 2 weddings, a trip to St. Louis which included my family in tow, I somehow managed to plan Laila’s 1st birthday party without burning my house down! My girlfriends who are also moms called it a “rite of passage”. I call it crazy/exciting/and so much fun all at the same time!
I started working on Laila’s party a month before & her theme was “Glitz & Glamour” with black, gold, and white as her party colors. Luckily I had some time to spare so I used Pinterest as inspiration and places like Etsy, TJMaxx, Wal-Mart, and Target to help with the décor. We had a bunch of décor left over from our wedding and a previous NYE party, so we were able to add that into the mix. Here’s a look at all of the madness & glitzy fun we had! It was definitely a party to remember.
