On a random run to Target the other day, I found myself browsing the beauty section (as always) just to see what new little trinkets I could score for a low price and landed at the Eyes, Lips, Face (e.l.f.) display. Their selection has grown quite nicely and I can attest to the quality of a few of their products. This trip I scored lashes, nail polish remover, Makeup Mist & Set Spray, and liquid eyeliner, all for less than $10.

The Review

I am so impressed with this product. I’ve been using this for a few months now and I have not been disappointed! This little container holds lightly saturated nail polish remover pads that does not give off that scent that gives you a reflexive gag in your throat. It’s so small, I put it in my little lip gloss bag in my purse in case I need a polish change or if I need to erase the scuff mark on my shoe. This stuff is fantastic and it’s only $1!  For those of you who like to take off polish at the office or on the plane to your next destination, this product is ideal!

This is my first time trying this liquid eyeliner, but I have to say I’m very happy with it. The brush, as you can see, is very thin. I really like this as it glides on smoother and more defined than a thicker brush. I also discovered if I wanted to line my lids very close to the lash line, or create that crisp “wing line” for the cat-eye look, I didn’t have any problems doing so!

The makeup mist is a great buy also. It’s made with Aloe Green Tea, Cucumber, and Vitamins A, C, & E. It gives off a light cucumber smell and does not burn when applied. I found that my makeup lasted all day when I used this product. This mist will set you back $3.

The only thing I have not tried are the eyelashes, but I’m sure that with the satisfaction I’ve had with e.l.f. products, these lashes are sure to please. I’ll be sure to share photos when I apply them!

My next trip I want to get this and this in Punk Purple and Teal Tease! These are the things that make being a girl fun!!

Check out more of the E.L.F. products here or check out your nearest Target for a display! Who says you have to spend a lot of money for quality beauty products?
