Happy Friday, everyone!
I can honestly say I’ve been neglecting my nails lately. With a hectic schedule, a daily commute in traffic, obligations, and whatever else is going on, I just haven’t made the time to do them.
Today, I decided to buckle down and do something. I wanted something simple, but more than a coat of clear polish. Rather than paint the entire nail and wait for it to dry, I went for the tips instead!
Here’s what I used:
-Essie Protein Base Coat
-Nail Tip Guides
-Revlon Nail Polish in “Jaded”
-Essie’s Super Duper Top Coat
-Q-Tip (for excess removal)
I like the guides because you can be as messy as you want but still get it right. After you pull off the guide, finish with a topcoat.
Boom! I was happy with how it turned out! Quick, simple, and got the job done in 15 minutes. Most of all: it’s super cute and an easy way to sneak that loud color you’ve been dying to wear to work. Rather than run myself ragged polishing the entire nail, or run around raggedy, focusing on the tips is a quick and effective way to get that beauty manicure when you’re pressed for time.
