There’s an old fashion adage that reminds us “The accessories make the outfit”. I can honestly say for me, that adage still holds true, even with bags and clutches. I’ve always classified bags and the like as an accessory – a tangible article (usually fashion focused) used to enhance one’s appearance. Accessories are my favorite parts of an outfit. Today, I want to share with you one of my favorite accessories that promise and guarantee to take any outfit from 0 to 60: the envelope clutch.
Women have been accessorizing with the clutch for decades. They come in all colors, shapes, and sizes, giving your oversized handbags, crossbody bags, and satchels a break. However the envelope clutch is a style I love simply because of the clean lines and the (typical) stitching which creates “envelope” pattern, which brings the eye directly to the detail of clutch.
