From HauteLook to Hot Beauty

I’m always looking for beauty reviews and beauty things to try.  I can’t help it; I’m addicted.  Walking into the cosmetic section of just a CVS takes my breath away.  So you can imagine whenever I step foot into an ULTA or MAC store – I lose all marbles.

So before Christmas, I stumbled across one of my sites I love reading and stumbled across an article I couldn’t resist looking into.  Urban Decay had a bunch of their lip glosses, mascaras, lip pencils, and even $30+ brushes for only $2.  ::insert gasps here::  I am one that always believes there’s some sort of “catch” to anything anyone usually advertises.  Guess you can call me a slight skeptic? Nevertheless, I hopped on over the next day to see if this “sale” was really real.  Indeed, it was!

I scored mega items that would have cost well over $100, plus tax and shipping for only $12!!! How did I do it? Am I a part of some “elite” beauty society that gets all of the goodies and privileges? How about no since I wasn’t able to catch any of the brushes on sale!! Grr!!! However, I did score some goodies in the mean time.

I got the Urban Decay Smoke Out eye pencil in ‘Green Goddess’, two Big Fatty Colored Mascara in ‘Indigo’ and ‘Black Cherry’, a Loose Pigment in ‘Shag’, and two XXX Shine Cooling Lip Glosses in ‘Joyride’ and ‘Quickie’.  If you feel like you’ve missed out, don’t worry!  Right now the eye pencils are on SALE for only $6!!
