Last summer, one of my favorite bloggers posted a yummy, baked mac+cheese recipe here that had me itching to get to the store and get cookin’.  The recipe is so super easy to make and has provided consistent raves from everyone who tries it. [[Not to “Toot” my own horn, but – “beep beep”]]
I’ve made this recipe 7 times now and I’m finding myself being nominated to make the mac & cheese at different functions.  This is one recipe I truly have grown to enjoy making.  Here are some of the different variations I’ve tried:
-Using a mix of extra sharp cheddar and pepper jack cheese to top it off
-Adding diced onions and bell peppers in the melted mix so it can bake inside
-Adding a little of Tabasco hot sauce in the melted mix for a little “kick”
Note:  Adding tabasco does not make your recipe hot; this is only for flavor
