With just lipstick applied
Anyone that knows me really well can tell you I’ve always gravitated towards colors for as long as I can remember. As I’ve aged, I’ve grown a fond love and appreciation for neutrals and nudes, but the love for a splash of color still resonates with me.

This season, I decided to step out of the box a little and try a new lip color that was different than the typical reds, plums, pinks, or neutrals that I own. What better way to ease into it than with a bold shade of tangerine?! After all, we talked about the color of the year here, right? So for the feature, I picked up 2 products by Revlon: the ‘Super Lustrous Lipstick’ in ‘Siren’ and Revlon’s newest product, the ‘Colorburst™’Lipgloss in ‘Sizzle’ to try them out.

This lipstick gives that “matte” look with a nice, creamy texture on your lips. I really like this formula simply because I am not a big fan of matte lipsticks that make your lips dry. I like it quick and simple; put it on and go!

This gloss can give the pricey brands a run for their money!! Honey, this gloss packs a powerful punch of color with shine. It’s not goopy and leaves your lips nice and smooth. This is a definite winner in my book!!

Overall I’m very impressed with the shade. It truly left me feeling beautiful and not like I was a 3 year old rummaging through my Mom’s makeup. The great thing about the shade orange: there is a shade for all skin tones. The colors will range from corals to the deepest tangerine red hues and will never leave you feeling like you’re something missing.
I dare you to try it out! I was happy I did.

such a pretty color! x

I have been wanting to try a coral/tangerine lip for ages! But I was always worried that it would look too orange with my skin tone, you’ve convinced me otherwise! I’m heading out now to get those colors 😉

Thanks everyone for the kind words! I was pleasantly surprised how this turned out, especially with the gloss. I love love love this color.
There’s an orange/tangerine/coral color for every skin tone. Take it back to Kindergarten days – play with colors at the beauty counters to see what works best. 🙂
Those earrings you’re wearing a fierce!
