At one point in my life, fitness was just a buzzword—something people did by going to the gym. It wasn’t a lifestyle, and it definitely didn’t influence your choices beyond the workout itself. Back then, fitness felt exclusive—reserved for those who were extreme in their pursuit of more: more skinny, more muscular, more toned, more (fill in the blank).

Because of that, I grew up not loving movement. I didn’t see myself in that world. I wasn’t extreme. But now, with time and wisdom, I see fitness differently.

Fitness is a bridge that fuels every other area of my life—my energy, my mindset, my ability to show up fully in a meeting or even just cook a healthy meal. Of all the ways I move—running, spinning, swimming—weightlifting has my heart. For over 12 years, I’ve built strength both pre- and post-baby, lifting weights I never imagined I could. The mental toughness it takes to push through one more rep is the same grit I tap into during a hard run or when I need to push past a creative block.

But here’s the truth: none of it works without the right gear.

My gym backpack is my unsung hero. It holds everything I need: gloves, headphones, electrolytes, an extra pair of socks, keys, and a snack. It’s not just a backpack—it’s a mobile command center that supports me in every workout. When you’re training for life, make sure your gear is as strong and ready as you are.

Because when you’re lifting the weight of the world, you’ll want a backpack that can carry it all. Extra points if it’s cute and matches the ‘fit!
