When I was introduced to the brand, Peace. Love. Threads., I found it refreshing to hear that this up and coming boutique caters to all the things the fashionable woman on the go wants and needs in her style.
PLT’s CEO, Tasha Moore, is a fashion model, putting her stamp on the catwalks, as well as the sidewalk. Launching on June 7, 2012, PLT is an online fashion boutique that will offer a chic collection of women’s wear, shoes, and accessories. I was truly impressed with this brand’s position and had the chance to ask Tasha a few questions to share with my readers about PLT, what makes it unique and why they should pay attention.
LofBB: Tell us how Peace. Love. Threads. came into existence. How did it come about?
TM: When I started modeling, I got to work with a lot of new designers, whom were always giving me their favorite pieces as gifts. When I would wear them out, people would actually beg to purchase the clothes off my back! From there I started PLT to share with others my personal, edgy/chic style and to present new and upcoming designers and brands.
LofBB: Interesting! Tell me this: the market is so saturated with fashion and online boutiques already. What makes your brand stand out from the rest?
TM: As I mentioned before, our boutique will present new and upcoming designers and brands, which makes us different from all of the other online boutiques. We’re setting new trend, not just following current ones. PLT also has a commitment to give back via the Love Shop, which we collect donated apparel and accessories for an ongoing clothing drive we host. Anyone who wishes to donate can through our website, PeaceLoveThreads.com and purchase exclusive designer pieces from Love Shop. Love Shop will benefit children’s shelters, halfway houses, orphanages, and schools.
LofBB: That is truly amazing! I have always had a soft spot for giving back and I love how you’re in the business to bring the world the hottest fashions, but to also give back to your community through your brand!
