I have been on pins and needles waiting & watching the collections come down the runway at NYFW for the past few days, taking the time to observe the fashion trends for next Spring. One of the designers I always look forward to seeing is Jason Wu. His collections are always on target, designing pieces for the fashion-forward woman. He does a tremendous job creating pieces that fit a woman’s body in all the right areas without showing too much and giving you color when and where you need it.
It’s no surprise that I stared at the screen for 10 minutes oogling at this new Spring collection. Like many of the other collections, he displays a number of pieces that are dark and moody in color, like blacks and navy, but also has some khaki & white, as well. His pop of color for this collection is coral. He has a number of pieces in designed in leather and chiffon materials, with silhouettes ranging from feminine and flowy to structured and straight.
