One of the projects I decided to take on this weekend was jumping head first into making some of the recipes that looked interesting and yummy to make. After choosing paint swatches for our home, I decided to head home to start some brownies for my honey while he was working
I used this recipe, attempting to switch the middle of them, but my cutter didn’t cut so well. Nevertheless, I ended up with a ton of sweet white and dark chocolate heart brownies that he enjoyed! All made with a little love, of course. 🙂
With only a few things to do around town today, I felt the need to roam some of my favorite areas of Atlanta for inspiration. Days like this usually find me with a peaceful and quiet demeanor with the longing for something to inspire me throughout the day. Today’s adventures ended up in Virginia Highlands. First stop: Urban Outfitters. My last adventure (sadly) was here with my bestest buddy, Rasheed. As usual, they had a lot of fabulous finds (and a great sale). Surprisingly, I only left with these two pretty bottles of nail polish.
Pretty trees with these beautiful, bright-colored flowers lined the streets
Next, I decided to roam through the Bill Hallman boutique. There were SO many pieces I fell in love with, I really had to focus! 🙂 I stumbled across these fabulous, purple shorts while I was there (and I do mean fabulous).
Loved them so much, I decided to buy!
Later on, it’s warmed, heart-shaped brownies, vanilla ice cream and a movie with my honey! Enjoying my weekend so far. How’s yours?
